Who Should We See?

eye-world-global-vision-1000The Great Commission in Matthew 28-19-20 seems like such a large calling. Jesus’ command to “go and make disciples” is not placing the fate of the whole world on your shoulders. Instead, it is asking you to do your part in the world where you are.

Chances are, you are the only person from the Lord’s church who has access to some of the people you do. Make it known that you are a New Testament Christian who believes in only the words of the Bible. This is a great way to become a shining light in the world where you are. Read your Bible on your lunch hour and see how many people begin to ask you questions about the Bible since they see you doing this. Part of beginning to see the lost is letting them see how important God and His Word are to you.

If there are things to correct in your life so that your light will shine bright, do them now! If your attendance or involvement in the church has been marginal or not as faithful as you like, make the change before you begin looking for others to bring to Christ. It is discouraging when someone is invited to attend church services, only to find that the person who invited them is not there.

Go into the world where you are and see what God can do with you.
