Fellowship Opportunities

IMG_0093-1.jpgThe North MacArthur congregation believes that fellowship is a vitally important part of Christianity. It helps encourage us to be all that we can be for God. As brothers and sisters in Christ share their lives with one another, God lifts us up and fills our lives with blessings. We encourage Christians to spend time with one another in the hopes of creating a strong, Christian family. We encourage this in several ways:

Fellowship meals—once a month we eat together as a church body on Wednesday evenings in our gym.

Brother’s Keeper — these are small group units that spend a year getting to know one another. They typically meet in member’s homes once a month and sharing a meal together and get to know the other members in the group. The groups change every year to give more opportunities to get to know other Christians.

Welcome Home — these are groups that are for new members and guests to the church. Several existing members open up their homes to host a meal and invite new people in the congregation to come and get better acquainted with each other.

Affirming the Faith — this is a chance at the North MacArthur

building for people from around the entire state of Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas to come and spend some time with other Christians that they do not get to see very often.

Retreats — we have retreats from time to time that are for groups like women, couples, teens, and families. This gives us a chance to be with people who are in similar life circumstances as us and share our lives with one another.

Bible Class — our Sunday morning Bible classes are oriented by age to give people a chance to share prayer request, life issues, and learn from God’s Word with others in a similar stage of life.

If you come to our services, you will see people who enjoy being with one another. Many of our members will stay until the lights are turned off visiting with one another because there is a true family bond in the congregation.
